What is a Read & Ring and What is a Festival Music Ring?
READ & RING
An Area 2 Read & Ring is a 3-hour workshop/sight reading event designed for individual ringers, a partial choir, or a full choir. Ringers will sight read Level 1-4 music selected and supplied by Jeffers Handbell Supply.
Hosted by ringers and directors in multiple locations throughout Area 2 during the months of March, April, and May, the Read & Ring will allow ringers to ring new music, standard repertoire, and forgotten treasures.
FESTIVAL MUSIC RING
An Area 2 Festival Music Ring is a 3-hour workshop event designed for individual ringers, a partial choir, or a full choir. Ringers will read through and rehearse the Massed Music Selections for the upcoming Area 2 Festival to be held in the Poconos on Friday, June 27 – Sunday, June 29, 2025. Please let us know at online registration if you will need music, or already have and are rehearsing the Festival music selections. Hosted by ringers and directors in multiple locations throughout Area 2 during the months of March, April, and May, the Festival Music Ring will allow ringers to prepare for our Area 2 Festival.
BOTH EVENTS
Invite your ringing friends to attend with you, or go solo to either event.
At the completion of the event, music was available for purchase.
